Juz 30 — Amma Yatasa'aloon

564 ayahs·An-Naba 1 → An-Nas 6

100:7
وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ۝7
And indeed, he is to that a witness.
100:8
وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ۝8
And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense.
100:9
۞ أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ۝9
But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered
100:10
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ۝10
And that within the breasts is obtained,
100:11
إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّخَبِيرٌۢ۝11
Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Aware.
101:1
ٱلْقَارِعَةُ۝1
The Striking Calamity -
101:2
مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ۝2
What is the Striking Calamity?
101:3
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ۝3
And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity?
101:4
يَوْمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلْفَرَاشِ ٱلْمَبْثُوثِ۝4
It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed,
101:5
وَتَكُونُ ٱلْجِبَالُ كَٱلْعِهْنِ ٱلْمَنفُوشِ۝5
And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up.
101:6
فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ۝6
Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds],
101:7
فَهُوَ فِى عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ۝7
He will be in a pleasant life.
101:8
وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ۝8
But as for one whose scales are light,
101:9
فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٌ۝9
His refuge will be an abyss.
101:10
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهْ۝10
And what can make you know what that is?
101:11
نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌۢ۝11
It is a Fire, intensely hot.
102:1
أَلْهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ۝1
Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you
102:2
حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَ۝2
Until you visit the graveyards.
102:3
كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ۝3
No! You are going to know.
102:4
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ۝4
Then, no! You are going to know.
