JUZZ brings Quran reading and listening together. Here is where the text, translation and audio come from, and how to choose your reading view.
Quran text & translation
Surah information, Arabic text and verse translations are served through the Quran Foundation content API, used by Quran.com. The default English translation is Saheeh International. In reading settings you can choose up to five available translations, including English and Urdu, to compare beneath each ayah. Each translation is labelled with its source.
Translation conveys an interpretation of the meaning. It is not a replacement for the Arabic Quran.
Reading scripts
The verse reader defaults to Uthmani. In Settings, choose King Fahd for the QPC Hafs text with the KFGQPC Hafs V22 font, Tajweed for the source colour font, Madinah for QCF V2, Uthmani V1 for the earlier QCF font, or IndoPak for the corresponding IndoPak text. These are reading-script choices, not a riwayah selector.
The Tajweed choice uses the original COLRv1 colour font, with its built-in light and dark palettes. QCF fonts are loaded by the page number of each word, but the words flow normally within each ayah: no printed-page layout is required. The separate Tajweed text option uses source annotations as a lightweight alternative. Use each ayah’s Copy button for plain Arabic when using a glyph font.
The 604-page Madinah mushaf uses page-specific QCF glyph fonts to follow the printed layout. A colour-coded Tajweed view is available in its script settings.
Recitation
Choose from 75 reciters in the reciter library. The verse player streams audio from EveryAyah using the selected reciter’s recording folder.
Listen starts from the first ayah and continues to the end of the Surah, across reading-page boundaries. The play button above an ayah starts there and continues through the remaining ayahs. An unavailable recording is reported instead of silently skipping Quran text.
